Here it is again, our most well-known pattern. A fly that has taken tens of thousands of salmon. We fish it gladly and often, big or small. It’s a great standard fly which works everywhere, maybe it’s best in tea coloured rivers, or on that low August river. Sometimes we vary the hackle and put the orange grizzly to the front and sometimes we use that orange metallic coloured cone, nevertheless in any shape it ́s just a fantastic little fly.
